Jaipur, the Pink City of Rajasthan, India, is a popular destination for destination weddings, and it’s not hard to see why. Indeed, with its rich cultural heritage, stunning architecture, and warm hospitality, Jaipur provides a truly unforgettable experience for couples and their guests. Therefore, Shreya and Tarush’s destination wedding in Jaipur was no exception.

When Shreya and Tarush approached us to be their wedding photographers and wedding filmers for their destination wedding at Rajasthali Resort and Le Meridian Hotel in Jaipur, India, we were absolutely thrilled. These are two of the most beautiful venues in Jaipur, and somewhere we’ve always wanted to shoot. Shreya and Tarush are also a really lovely couple, and when they told us about their wedding plans, we were even more excited. We shot their pre-wedding session in a beautiful location in Delhi on a sunny day in June. Not only did we get some great shots, but we also had an awesome time. We love doing a pre-wedding shoot with our couples as it gives us a chance to really get to know them and vice versa. We can also go through different poses and techniques, and by showing Shreya and Tarush how I work, we were able to make them feel much more relaxed on the wedding day.

Sangeet Night & Gala Dinner

At Shreya and Tarush’s destination wedding in Jaipur, everyone is getting ready to dance the night away at the Sangeet! Picture lots of singing and dancing as relatives show off their talents and celebrate the love between Shreya and Tarush. It’s a fun, lively event before the wedding, all about having a great time and bringing everyone closer through music and dance. Family members and cousins had a gala time entertaining the couple with their performance.

Wedding Eve

The wedding day itself got off to an early start. Shreya and her bridesmaids were getting ready at one of the hotels, where we arrived. After a quick look around the grounds, we went up to her room. She’d stayed there with her bridesmaids the night before, and there were several telltale signs of a girly night in. Bridal prep was in full flow, with the make-up artist and hair stylist doing their thing. At this point in the day, we generally hang back and capture reportage-style images, documenting things as they unfold. The very talented make-up artist, who was doing Shreya’s make-up, had cleverly positioned her next to a large window, allowing me to take some beautifully as we could light it up from outside.

After spending a couple of hours photographing Shreya and the bridesmaids, our co-team left to grab some images of the groom and his baraat getting ready at Le Meridian. Meanwhile, we got Shreya and her bridesmaids together for some fun group shots, and then took some individual bridal portraits of Shreya, who looked absolutely stunning.

We often stay late at the weddings we shoot, as we believe that some of the best images are captured when people loosen up and let their hair down, and we weren’t disappointed.

As the night drew to a close at around 4:30 am, Shreya and Tarush made their way to the driveway where their car, family, and friends awaited. A perfect day finally ended with a perfect farewell.

It was an absolute pleasure to be a part of their wonderful wedding at Rajasthali Resort and Le Meridian Hotel in Jaipur, India, and we wish them a long and beautiful life together.
